Understanding the Significance of Christmas in Christian Faith

The celebration of Christmas is the remembrance of the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, the third of person of the Trinity, who took on human flesh to pay the penalty of sin and restore mankind back to God.

As we reflect at this season, may we be reminded of the Father’s extreme love demonstrated in the incarnation of Christ. The humility of Christ Jesus to take on mortal flesh. His mission from the manger to the cross made it possible for God to also dwell in man when we receive Christ.

May we never lose sight of the blood that was placed beyond the veil on the mercy seat that has granted us access because of the manger-born Messiah.

May we receive fresh inspiration through His example of love, selflessness, meekness, service, surrender, humility, obedience, and passion for righteousness. May we be the fragrance of His grace, showing His compassion to the weak and vulnerable amongst us.

In this season, you and your family will experience the open hand of God in Jesus’ name

Merry Christmas
